An9me Studios Entertainment was founded in 2010 after CEO and founder, David Cameron returned to Canada after several years of working in Los Angeles. Since then, the company has grown and established itself through using a collaborative transmedia approach to developing content and building brands. It is now home to several animated IPs in development, including comics, characters, and graphic novels.

Broken Mirror Films

Broken Mirror Films recognizes that art cannot be a perfect reflection of life. Art distorts reality, and ideas are expressed through this distortion. Art is like looking into a broken mirror. Led by Director Jeremy Lutter, Broken Mirror Films is a company that specializes in creative visual storytelling.

Etch Media

Etch Media is an independent post-production facility located in Vancouver, Canada. Originally founded in London, England by Rob Neilson in 2001, Etch Media is now an established provider of services for a wide variety of projects ranging from video games, to corporate videos and commercials, to theatrically-released feature films.

Steam Powered Films

Steam Powered Films is the production company of director Mike Jackson. It was founded in 1999 with the help of Sam Dulmage, Peter New and Palle Hoffstein, as a home for their creative works. SPF also provides post-production services including editing, colour correction and visual effects.


The Celluloid Social Club

The goal of The Celluloid Social Club is to provide a forum for filmmakers to share their completed films with an audience and through a social setting, gain feedback on their work. It gives audience members an opportunity to view films that they might otherwise not be able to see, as well as interact with the filmmakers. The event is also an opportunity to network and possibly find cast, crew and collaborators for upcoming productions. In addition, the event is a location for leading filmmakers visiting Vancouver to share their films and experience with a local audience.

Cold Reading Series

The CRS casts brand new scripts on the spot and watches them fly in front of a live audience. Local musicians are also invited to share their work-in-progress in the “unplugged” musical segment of the evening. Every live reading ends with a party in the Lounge where you can meet up with other artists over a cold beer. The CRS is the place for Vancouver’s artists to meet one another, share their work, and create more.

Vancouver Asian Film Festival

VAFF is the oldest Asian film festival in Canada. It was founded in 1995 and debuted in September 1997. Since then, tens of thousands of film lovers have experienced a diverse selection of North American-Asian and international films. VAFF is entirely organized and produced by a group of dedicated volunteers, and is made possible by generous financial support from corporate sponsors, public funders and private donors.

WFW is Canada's oldest and largest provider of professional motion picture, television, digital media and theatrical production equipment. The company services productions of all sizes from coast to coast and has the most extensive inventory of equipment in the industry, including the very latest in technological advances.
